Fai woodburn

I am so freaking proud of how this turned out.
It took FOREVER to finish (28ish hours) and I was acutally working on it the night before I had to leave for the con. It was still drying in the car on the way there and the sealer had to be put on the day before the autographs.

If I ever decide to do a pic with that many itty-bitty-teeny-tiny lines again, shoot me. Seriously.

I tried to do a diffent technique though, I did the trace/woodburn/color thing like normal but the black parts are actually stain (I turned the can upside down for about a week and used the thicker, more pure black to paint with) and acryllics for the snowflakes.

This is usually the first one I show off to people when they come to the house to see the anime collective-ness that is my place.

I'll post the whole reason behind doing this one next, but this pic shows the actuall woodwork better than the other so I wanted to have it be seen.
